Complaints Against National Accreditation Commission of Sciences Arts
The post-obit accrediting agencies are recognized by the Secretary as reliable regime apropos the quality of didactics or training offered by the institutions of higher teaching or higher teaching programs they accredit.
The dates specified for each entry are (1) the date of initial listing as a nationally recognized accrediting bureau, (2) the date of the most recent review for renewed recognition of the bureau by Section staff and past the NACIQI, and (three) the appointment of the next scheduled review of the agency'south compliance report or total petition for renewal of recognition. (Notation: S=Summer NACIQI meeting; Westward=Winter NACIQI meeting; C= Compliance Report)
Unless otherwise noted in a Championship IV note after the bureau'south name, accreditation by an agency listed below may be used past an establishment accredited by the agency to institute eligibility to participate in Title Four programs. Since December 1999, the Department has been routinely including altitude education (defined at the time to include correspondence teaching) in its in-depth review of all agencies seeking initial or continued recognition. Consequently, all recognition decisions made subsequently December ane, 1999 and prior to July 2010 include a decision as to whether an agency's scope of recognition includes the accreditation of distance didactics. Beginning in July 2010, at each review for renewal of recognition, an agency will be expected to demonstrate its evaluation of altitude educational activity and/or correspondence educational activity in order to retain distance educational activity and/or correspondence education in its telescopic of recognition.
